クリケット
クリケットの起源は16世紀前半のイングランドで、バットとクリケットボールを使って1チーム11人の計2チームの間で行われる。イギリス、オーストラリア、インド、南アフリカ、西インド諸島などの英連邦諸国を中心に大人気で、世界の競技人口はサッカーに次いで第2位といわれる。
チャーリーは1952 年から 1956 年までTylers Croft Secondary Modern Schoolに通い、芸術、音楽、クリケット、サッカーに才能を発揮したという。ストーンズのメンバーもクリケット好きで知られており、特にチャーリー・ワッツとミック・ジャガーは長年にわたって熱狂的なファンで、世界中の試合で目撃されている。
2018年には、クリケット用品ブランドのグレイ・ニコルズがザ・ローリング・ストーンズとコラボレーションを発表し、限定50本のクリケット・バットが生産された。
