ハウリン・ウルフがブリティッシュ・ロックの孝行息子たちと創ったセッション・アルバム。
ローリング・ストーンズからはチャーリー・ワッツ、ビル・ワイマン、イアン・スチュワートのリズム隊とミック・ジャガーが、ビートルズ関係からはリンゴ・スターとクラウス・フォアマンがリズム隊として参加している。その他にもエリック・クラプトンが全面的に参加しており、スティーブ・ウィンウッドもピアノとオルガンでオーバー・ダブながら参加している。
ハウリン・ウルフは名前の通りのダミ声で吠えまくり、チャーリーとビルがガッチリとリズムを支え、クラプトンのギターもハツラツとしている。残念ながら、チャーリー・ワッツとリンゴ・スターの共演はなかったようだが、デラックス・エディションに収録された録音過程の音源を聴くと、終始リラックスしたムードで孝行息子達に囲まれた親分が気持ち良くレコーディングしている様が伺える。
